JAMB releases 2026 UTME original result slips for printing
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that candidates are now able to print their original result slips for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination within two hours of issuance.
This information was shared on Wednesday through a statement from JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
The statement indicated that the original result slips include candidates’ photographs, national rankings, and various security features necessary for post-UTME screening and admission processes at tertiary institutions.
"The 2026 UTME Original Result Slip will be accessible for printing within the next two hours today, Wednesday, 17th June, 2026," the statement noted.
It further stated, "The Original Result Slip comprises the candidate’s photograph, national ranking, and other security features. It is an essential document required for post-UTME processing and evaluation by tertiary institutions.
"Candidates can easily print their Original Result Slip from any device with internet access, whether at home, in the office, or at accredited business centers."
JAMB encouraged candidates to meticulously check their details after printing and to retain copies for future admission-related purposes.
The main examinations for the 2026 UTME were conducted in April 2026, with a mop-up examination taking place on June 13, 2026, for candidates who experienced technical difficulties or biometric issues during the initial examination.
Results from the mop-up were released on Tuesday, June 16.
The printing of original result slips had previously been postponed to allow for the completion of foreign-based examinations and the mop-up round.
On May 19, JAMB had requested patience as it finalized these processes.
The availability of printable slips will allow candidates to move forward with their applications to tertiary institutions for the 2026/2027 admission cycle.
Numerous schools have already initiated or are about to start post-UTME registrations.
